Ada Louise Cator, 76, of Union Dale, passed away February 10th at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Edgar L. And Ethelmae Dawson Brill.

She was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and, prior to retirement in October 2025, she was employed as the Secretary for Servant Church of the Abingtons.

Louise was an active member of her church, community, and school boards. She was an active board member at Mountain View and Abington Christian Academy. Louise served faithfully as both a secretary and member of Servant Church of the Abingtons. She was involved in many community groups such as Emmaus and Unite Pa. She loved spending time with her church friends and family, and watching the beautiful birds at her house.

Surviving are a son, Richard D Cator III and his wife Vita of Factoryville, daughter Christine Cochrane and husband Greydon of Chicago, Il.

A funeral service and celebration of Louise's life will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 9 am at Servant Church of the Abingtons, 204 South Abington Rd. Clarks Green, with services by Rev. Glenn White Jr. Friends may pay their respects at the church from 8am until the conclusion of the service. Internment will be private at Smith Hill Cemetary, Honesdale, at the convenience of the family.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cottrell Lake property fund.
