Agatha Engler

Agatha Engler, 93, of Scranton passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Gino J. Merli Veterans Center.

Born on July 15, 1929, she is the daughter of the late William and Marcella Auksoraitis Baranauskas. She graduated from Mt. Sianal Hospital in Philadelphia. She was a nurse during the Korean War.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Palla, David Palla, Phyllis Palla, and Victor Baranauskas, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Victor Baranauskas; sister, Victoria Palla.

Family and friends are invited to attend Agatha's graveside service with full military honors which will be held on Friday July 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM from Cathedral Cemetery 1708 Oram St. Scranton, PA 18504.
