Alice Robinson

Alice L. Robinson, 80, of Tunkhannock passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Jay Robinson in 2017.

Born on March 29, 1945, in Kingston, she is the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie (Freas) Jennings.

Alice was a devoted member of the Forkston United Methodist Church since 1993. She was known for her warmth and kindness, she devoted much of her life to her family, serving as a loving mother and devoted housewife. Alice will be fondly remembered for her baking skills, which delighted her family and friends.

She found happiness in spending time with loved ones, particularly enjoying vacations to Canada and the beach. A trip to South Dakota with her husband held a special place in her heart.

In her leisure time, Alice found peace while sitting on her swing, embracing her surroundings. Additionally, she had a keen interest in sewing and birdwatching.

She is survived by her sons, Wesley Askew, Jr., Harold Askew and wife Deborah, Jay Robinson, II; daughters, Amy Markovitz and husband Michael, Jessica Murphy, Jayme Swaditch and companion; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by son, William Askew; brothers, Frank and Rex Jennings.

Due to inclement weather the service for Alice Robinson has been moved from the cemetery to the funeral home. The funeral service will take place tomorrow December 4th at 11:00AM from the Marcho, Sheldon, and Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
