Amber Hunsinger

Amber Morgan Hunsinger, 20, of Monroe Township along with her soon expected baby girl passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Born in Tunkhannock on February 14, 2003 she is the daughter of the late Mark Hunsinger and survived by her mother Elizabeth Hunsberger Hunsinger.

Amber graduated from Tunkhannock High School in the class of 2021 and went on to become an assistant manager at Dollar General. Amber was a free spirit who wore her heart on her sleeve. She went about her everyday life with kindness, touching every soul she met.

Amber was truly loved by everyone who knew her. Her caring personality made her a standout soul who touched many lives. She had the most infectious smile that could light up any room.

Not only did Amber impact the lives of people she met while living; she left an indelible mark that will forever be remembered by those close to her. Amber's memory will continue to live on through stories shared by friends and family members.

She is survived by her fiancé, John Transue; brothers, Todd Makavensky, Brian Hunsinger, Kevin Hunsinger, Adam Hunsinger, Andrew Kelley; grandfather, Donald Hunsberger, grandmother, Linda Hunsberger; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Holly Bially.

Family and friends are invited to attend Amber’s memorial service which will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
