Ann Reeves

Ann Reeves, formerly Ann Williams, joined the Lord on September 11, 2022. She was the widow of the late Russell Weldon Reeves, who passed in 2000.  The couple was married for 55 years.

She was born in Scranton, PA on May 24, 1923.  Ann resided in her home in Newton Twp from 1960 until her final day.  She was dedicated to her home and children, always finishing one craft or sewing project while starting another.  Each season or holiday had its own decorations.  Her Welsh Tea Cakes (cookies) were unrivaled, soft and moist.  Ann always had a dog she loved, even after she left us.

Surviving her are daughters: Pamela (Jack) Frazier of Newton Twp, Rosalind (Jeffery) Benton of Drexel Hill, PA, Leslee (Ken) Krall of Uniondale, PA; a son, Brad (Jyl) Reeves of Newton Twp.; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her brothers Edward Williams and John (Jack) Williams.

A memorial service is planned to celebrate her 100 birthday in the spring of 2023.  Interment will be in the Newton Cemetery.
