AnnaMae Armbruster Belles, Baylors Lake, died Saturday evening in her home. She was the widow of Leslie Carl Belles.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Mary Knopka Armbruster. Prior to her retirement, she was a learning support aide for the Lackawanna Trail School District. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Nicholson and the Fleetville Fire Company. AnnaMae was a cheer coach for Lackawanna Trail and also was involved with the Special Olympics.
Surviving is a son, John Carl Belles, Clarks Summit; two daughters, Marybeth Targett and her companion F. Warren Breig III, Clarks Summit and LynnAnn Belles and her companion Scott Reese, Fleetville; brothers, John Armbruster and his wife Marie, William Hanley and his wife Diane, and Charles Armbruster; a sister, Patricia Boland and her husband, Jeffery; grandchildren, Aeddon and Deme Targett, Gabrielle Belles, and several others; and great grandchild Trevor.
She was also preceded in death by a brother James Hanley.
A blessing service will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
