Anthony Paul Deangelo

Anthony Paul DeAngelo, 83 years old, formerly of Ocala, Florida passed away on October 26, 2023.

Anthony was born September 26, 1940 in West Pittston, PA to his parents, Paul and Josephine DeAngelo. He was married for 55 years to Jean (Zavada) DeAngelo, had three children, including Kim, Paul, and Guy, and four grandchildren.

Anthony's daughter Kim and her husband Tom Burt live with their dog Bernie on the eastern shore in Virginia. His son Paul with his wife Melissa and daughters Grace and Holly reside in Harrisburg, PA. Anthony's other son Guy with his wife Michele and two daughters Regina and Vanessa live in Clarks Summit, PA.

Anthony graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in civil engineering in 1962. He advanced to become a professional engineer and surveyor licensed in Pennsylvania.

Anthony was commonly referred to as "Vegas" by his friends and family. Vegas will be remembered by his family, friends, and relatives, as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. We will miss Vegas as the center of the DeAngelo family. He was loved by all who knew him across PA and FL.

Our memory of Vegas will live on through Vanessa, Regina, Holly, and Grace. While we always hoped his heart would live forever, Vegas longed to resume his next dance with Jean, the love of his life. We are comforted to know Jean and Vegas are doing the foxtrot in each other's arms somewhere in heaven.

There will be a private interment by the family. There will be a private memorial lunch in honor of Anthony in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the "Regina DeAngelo Scholarship Fund" Post Office Box 1050, Great Falls, Virginia 22066.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
