Antoinette Mennig

Antoinette Mennig died at her home in Clarks Summit on Thursday. She was the widow of John A. Mennig, Sr., who died in 2020. The couple were married 58 years.

Born in Dalton, in the home her father built, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose Dipietroantonio. Antoinette was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and formerly worked at Commonwealth Telephone. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Surviving are her son, John A. Mennig, Jr., Dalton, and daughter Melanie Mennig, Clarks Summit; two grandchildren, Christopher and Olivia Mennig; sisters Rosemarie Laster and Raffaela Squier; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by several siblings.

Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Red Cross.
