Antoinette T. Simpson

Antoinette T. Simpson, 91, of Scranton passed away on Thursday at the Green Ridge Care Center.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Salzarulo. Her husband, the late Edward Simpson, passed away in 1999.

Antoinette loved getting together with family and going to the casino. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a banquet waitress.

Surviving are daughters Mary Ellen Nitch and husband Robert, and Lynn Fuller; grandchildren Teri Taft and Ashley Miller; great grandchildren Reilley and Landon Taft, Peyton Johns, and Jayce Purdy; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Jamie Gaglio and Stephen Gaglio, Jr., her sister Lucy Stecco and brothers Nick and Patty Salzarulo.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
