Arlene Richter

Arlene Richter, 97, of West Abington Twp., died Friday at Abington Manor. Her husband, Robert J. Richter, passed in 2013.

Born in Dupont, she was the daughter of the late John and Aniela (Nellie) Magdziak Kruchinski. She lived her entire life in her home in West Abington Township and worked as a domestic for over fifty years. She loved to travel and work in her 75 ft. perennial garden. Arlene loved to oil paint, do crafts, and collect items, as well as play pinochle, read books, go for walks, and go out for a good steak dinner.

She is survived by many nieces and  nephews.

She was preceded in death by all her siblings: brothers Frank, Andrew, and Anthony and sisters Bertha, Rose, Mary, and Anna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Arbogaste Satoun at Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, 700 West Main Street, Dalton, PA 18419. There will be no public viewing and a private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
