Arlyn H. Rosengrant

Arlyn H. Rosengrant, 70, of Falls Township, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 5th at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a long, valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Harry J. Rosengrant and Arlene E. Petty Rosengrant, he was a graduate of Abington Heights. Arlyn was a veteran of the United States Air Force and, prior to his retirement, he worked as a Customer Service / Distribution Analyst for the TOPPS Corporation, Duryea. Arlyn enjoyed spending his days riding his tractor and gardening, camping, and visiting the Drugatz family farm in Renovo.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Denna Benson Rosengrant, 4 children, Ben Pippenger and wife, Ashley, Dallas; Sarah Rosengrant, New York, NY; Katie Ide and husband, Joshua, Clarks Summit; and Zachary Rosengrant, Luzerne; and 5 grandchildren Claire, Eli, Nesta, Eden, and Ezra. As well as a brother, Lynn and wife, Palmina, Virginia Beach, VA. and many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside memorial  service will be held at the convenience of the family in Milwaukee Cemetery. A celebration of life party with family and friends will be planned at a later date.
