Barbara A. Bogdan

Barbara A. Bogdan of Tunkhannock died January 1st in Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 1, 1942 daughter of the late Oliver and Cora Pritchard Murray. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a House mom at St. Michaels School for boys in Hoban Heights for over 35 years. Preceding her in death was her husband of 32 years Gerald P. Bogdan, infant son Kevin, sister Jean Langdon. Surviving are sons and spouses Gerald and Kimberly Bogdan, Lake Winola, Mark and Dona Bogdan, Tunkhannock, daughters and husbands Barbara and Mark Manglaviti, Lake Winola, Karen and Frank Nawrocki, Spring Brook Twp., Brother John Murray, Dallas, Sister Clair Griffith, Kingston. Grandchildren, Katherine, Emily, Rebecca, David, Jarrett, Melissa, Nicholas, Roni and Matthew and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock Rev. Michael Baumgardner of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Cemetery, Dallas. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 7.
