Barbara Zeck

Barbara D. Zeck, 87, of Tunkhannock passed away on Sunday November 27, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband John Zeck.

She had a love for gardening, antiques, reading and her family. Barbara loved going to the movies at the Dietrich theater and working in her gardens.

Barbara was born in Scranton on October 30, 1935, she is the daughter of the late George and Margaret Bartron Dietrich.

She is survived by son, Michael Hudock and wife Kay; stepdaughters, Sharon Kintner and husband Andy and Karen Dean; brother George Dietrich, Jr. and wife Joanne; sisters, Lavona Daniels and husband Robert, and Laura Kirk; grandchildren, Mollie Stretch, Emily Hanggi, Sarah and Rachel Joyner, Jacob and Landon Hudock, Becca and Leslie Kintner, Laura Kuzio, Kevin and Gregory Franko; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter. Her two spoiled family members; dog, Bella and cat, Mr. John Wayne.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Nichola Hudock Joyner.

Family and friend are invited to attend Barbara's funeral service which will be held on Tuesday December 6, 2022, at 10:00 AM from the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church, 4 Church St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Reverend Tenny Rupnick presiding. Interment will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery at a later date.

A viewing will be held on Monday December 5, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Barbara's name to the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 447 Tunkhannock, PA 18657 or to the Dietrich Theater, 60 E. Tioga Street, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
