Berlin Russo

Berlin Russo Sr. Berlin Russo Sr. of Springville RD died Tuesday in the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. He was born in Newark, NJ on February 16, 1922 son of the late John and Antoinette Russo. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Construction Worker and was a member of the Springville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Layaou Russo, brothers Armando and Arthur Russo, sisters Nancy Mehena and Anna Vito. Surviving are sons John and Berlin Russo both of Springville, daughter Jean George of Orlando, Fla., sisters Jean Ainsworth of Houston, TX, Lillian Dueben of Clark Summit, 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 am from the Springville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jane Bensley, Pastor of the Springville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Mehoopany. Friends may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Friday evening 6 to 9.
