Bernard Leonard Blank

Bernard Leonard Blank of Tunkhannock, died Saturday July 8th in the VA Medical Center in Plains Twp., Luzerne Co. He was born in Philadelphia on February 22, 1951 son of the late Abraham and Sylvia Freemark Blank.

He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and prior to his retirement he was employed by the US Government as an electrician. A member of Shekinah-Ferwood Lodge #246 F&AM and a Life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8612.

Surviving is his wife of 23 years Elaine J. McClintock Blank, step children, son Ronald Paul, Orlando, Fla., daughters Charlene Smith, St Cloud, Fla., Valerie Fetteroff, Orlando, Fla., Melanie Porter, Largo, Fla., step grandchildren Graham Fetteroff and Ava LaRue Porter.

Interment of cremains will be Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa. at a time to be announced.
