Bonita Rosati

Bonita Rosati, 83, of Clarks Summit, died on Friday, April 25th. She was the widow of Angelo Rosati, who died in 1999. The couple had been together since 1967 when they met at the Elk Mountain ski lodge through the Scranton Ski Club.

Born in Ransom Township, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mamie Stine Reed. She was a graduate of Newton-Ransom High School and Lackawanna Junior College. Prior to retirement, she was an administrative assistant at the Scranton Lace Works and Parodi Cigars. She enjoyed Penn State Football games, world travel, watching movies and going out for dinner with friends.

Surviving are a son, Gregory Rosati, of Virginia; grandchildren Benjamin and Joseph; a sister, Maxine Warren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Willis Reed, and sister Roberta Bubernak.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 11 a.m. at Countryside Community Church, 14011 Orchard Drive, Newton Township, with services by Reverend Adam Miller. Interment will follow at Milwaukee Cemetery, Ransom Township. Friends may pay their respects at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
