Brad D. Glynn, 41, of Newton Township, died at home on Sunday.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Paul J. Glynn and Joyce Glynn Jordan of Newton Township. He was a 2000 graduate of Abington Heights High School and attended Keystone College. He was employed as a superintendent by RJB Construction and was a member of the Carpenters Local 645 and Masonry Local 5. He was also a member of the German-American Federation.
Brad was a free spirit, fun loving daredevil. He enjoyed motorcycling, skiing, snowmobiling, rappelling, and skydiving. His bucket list was endless and he was scheduled to bungee jump in Kentucky.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Geoffrey and wife Tara of Clarks Summit; a companion, Leslie Parker and her children Hailey and Kasey Atkins; his mother's fiance, John Cole; two nephews, Connor and Collin Glynn; and a godson, Wyatt Wolfe; uncle Bob Glynn and wife Darlene; aunt Carol Tobin; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Randy Jordan, and uncle Frank Glynn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment at Cathedral Cemetery will follow.
Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Newton-Ransom Volunteer Fire Company, 1890 Newton-Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
