Carl Joseph Ware of Clarks Summit passed away peacefully on Friday at Cambridge Riverview in Larksville.
Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise Ware, née Moneyheffer. He earned his associate's degree from Johnson Technical Institute and, prior to his retirement, worked as a technician at Procter and Gamble.
Carl belonged to the Church of St. Gregory. He was a dedicated member of the Abington Heights baseball and softball communities, coaching his children and also coaching the F. Smith & Sons Little League team. He was an avid fan of the New York and San Francisco Giants. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his three children.
Carl is survived by his children, Casey Ware, Cailey Farinaro and Corey Ware. Also surviving are his former wife, Cathy Ware; his son-in-law, Michael Farinaro; his brother, William Ware and wife Celina; his sister, Dorothy Keslosky and husband Michael; his stepmother, Sally Ware; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ware and Louise Ware.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Summit. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, 418 South State St., Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Abington Little League, PO Box 126, Clarks Summit PA 18411. All checks payable to Abington Little League, Inc.
