Carol Ann Mack

Carol Ann Mack, 84, of Springville passed away on Monday morning at Oak Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Taylor. She was the widow of Robert Mack, who passed away in 2021.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ceil Obarowski. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and, prior to retirement, she worked as a Customer Service Representative at Commonwealth Telephone.

Surviving are sisters Joan Lilli and Judith Wolff; nephew Ryan; nieces Jessica, Mara, and Allyson, who made delicious chicken soup for Carol; and good friend Rebecca Kilmer.

Carol was preceded in death by an infant son, George Laczko.

The family would like to thank the staff, especially Crystal, at Oak Ridge for the compassionate care they showed to Carol.

Per Carol's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., Clarks Summit.
