Carol A. Walter

Carol A. Walter (Holmes) was Promoted to Glory on July 9th, 2026 in Buffalo, New York. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Lawrence E. Walter, Jr. 

Carol was also the devoted mother of Daniel Walter and wife Judy of Machias, NY; David Walter and wife Debra of Cortland, Ohio; and Susan Walter of Orchard Park, NY. She was the cherished grandmother of Ben, Mark, Abby, Sarah, Timothy, Hannah, Alyssa, Sam, and Zachery; great grandmother of Bryce, Lex, and Lainey Lareau; Lorelai, Carolina, and Reuben Budik; and Alexis Moon. 

Carol is survived by her son-in-law, Michael, of Saugerties, NY; her nephews Scott and Sidney, and nieces Beth, Lori, and Shari. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, William and Abby (Palmer) Holmes, her brother Gerald Holmes, her daughter Barbara and her granddaughter Brittany. 

Services will be held privately at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, Clarks Summit, PA.
