Listen to Obituary

Carole Corwin, originally of Cornwall, New York, was welcomed into the arms of her parents, Kenneth and Betty Corwin.

Carole is survived by her siblings, sisters Collette Fulton of Cornwall, New York, Denise Tator of North Carolina, and her brother Kenneth Corwin of Little Meadows, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her five children, John Brewer of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Kenneth Brewer of Binghamton, New York, Julianne Lennon of Cornwall, New York, Elise Kurz of Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania and Joelle Heeman of Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania.

Her grandchildren meant so much to her. She had 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Carole was known for her fun spirit, kindness, and sense of humor. No matter where she went, she was loved and could always make everyone smile. She loved gardening, crocheting, knitting, and crafts of just about any kind. She loved music, especially country music, and could play pedal steel guitar, organ, and piano. Bingo games brought her a lot of fun as well. She loved playing for all the different ways to win and, if you were playing with her, she often saw you had the number called before you did. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, in particular baseball. She loved watching and rooting for her Atlanta Braves.

Carole had a special way with animals, especially cats and dogs. The family pets over the years were loved and trained by her. All of the children remember growing up with cats, dogs, ponies, hamsters, birds, and fish.

Carole battled many illnesses over the years and truly was a warrior.

If you would like to make a donation to either an animal rescue or cancer research organization, it would be a wonderful way to remember this amazing lady.
