Carolyn had the biggest heart for all God's creatures and nature. There wasn't an animal she didn't love. Carol had a tremendous wonder of our universe and the role we played in it. Having been a former President and lifelong member of the Lackawanna Astronomy Society, she and her good friend, Jim Spangler attended many events at the Thomas Cupillari Observatory and were able to experience the wonders and beauty the cosmos has to share with us.
Carol loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren's accomplishments. She reveled in the idea of being a great grandmother. She and Arvo were married for over 40 years. They enjoyed nothing more than their home and pets, road trips to Hotdog Johnny's, breakfasts at Denny's, and roaming around a good fair. Carol loved crafting and enjoyed gifting her creations to family and friends.
Carol was a strong and courageous woman, having been widowed at an early age with 3 young children. She persevered, owned her own home and worked hard to create a loving family.
