Clara J. Smith

Clara J. Smith, 82, of Tunkhannock passed away on June 9, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Smith in 1998. Born on January 11, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Hazel Singer. Clara enjoyed spending her time with family and friends going to Pow-Wows, reading, word searches, playing cards and bingo. She is survived by daughter Jennie Strohl and husband Larry; sisters Mary Rockefeller, Doris Henry, Lucy Hanscom, Lois Kulac, Martha Goff, and Dawn Stallings; brothers, Lloyd, Gerald, Donald, David, Arthur, Howard, and Mark Singer; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by children, Michael Smith, William Smith, Darla Greene, Kay Benson; sisters, Louise Kulac, Betty Monaco, and Susan Henry; brother, Roger Singer.
