Cynthia C. Taylor, 69, of Meshoppen died Friday February 28th at Hospice of the Scared Heart, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 51 years William Taylor. She was born July 27, 1944 in Nanticoke, PA daughter of the late Wesley and Genevieve Allen Robbins.
Cynthia devoted her life to her family and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors. She will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her son William Taylor Jr., and sister Leslie Daum.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter Kathy Greenip and husband Erik, of Falls, brothers Wesley Robbins and wife Waneta, of Muhlenburg, Christopher Robbins and wife Sandy of Shickshinny, sisters Hannah Alar, of Sweet Valley, Loretta Hauk and husband Wayne, of Shickshinny, grandsons Zachary Greenip, Mark, Nathan and Erik Taylor, granddaughter Lindsay Greenip, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th at 4:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor John Mosley of the Assembly of God Church Nanticoke, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
