Daniel B. Howell

Daniel B. Howell, 49, of Lake Winola passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on May 22, 1976, in Tunkhannock, he is the son of Jerry and Shirley (Green) Howell.

Dan was a proud 1994 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. For 29 years, he worked at Rite Aid, in the pharmacy department.

He found joy in camping, often cherishing the moments spent in nature. His creative spirit was also evident through his hobbies; he enjoyed making soap and crafting necklaces, sharing his artistic talents with family and friends.

He was also a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Tracy Sherwood and husband Shane; nephew, Shane Sherwood, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend Dan's Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM from Pleasant View Baptist Church, 245 Orchard Drive, Falls, PA 18615.
