Darla Kasmierski

Darla J. Kasmierski of Mehoopany died Wednesday December 14th in Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She was born in Ridgeway, Pa. on August 20, 1942 daughter of the late Walter F. and Lavina Holmberg Lyle. Darla was an active cheerleader for her grandchildren attending numerous athletic events. She had a particular love for animals especially her pet dog Lulu. She was preceded in death by a son John Paul, daughter Mary Theresa Kasmierski and a brother Robert Lyle. Surviving is her husband of 54 years Thomas Kasmierski, sons Douglas, wife Michelle and Dean C. Kasmierski both of Mehoopany, daughter Deborah, husband Kenneth Chabok of South Plainfield, NJ, grandchildren Brittany Hartman, Amber Hartman, Kevin Kasmierski, Lauren Kasmierski, Paul Kasmierski, Ashley Kasmierski, Cheyanne Kasmierski, Tara Kasmierski, Dustin Kasmierski, Zachery Kasmierski, Haylie Greogry. Great Grandchildren, Taylor Parraga, Chase Parraga and Tucker Freeman. At Darla’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
