David Tassey

David Tassey, 84, of South Abington Township, died at home on Thursday morning. He was the husband of Ella Sherman Tassey. The couple were married 65 years.

Born in Scranton, he was a Maintenance Man at Jackob's Hat prior to retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Deborah Tremmel, of Scranton; and a son, David Tassey, Jr. of Springbrook; a sister, Terry Stout of Gouldsboro; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Alfred and Paul Tassey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
