Deanna M. Beggin

Deanna M. Beggin, Dalton, passed away on Wednesday at Allied Hospice, Scranton. She is survived by John Beggin, her husband of 55 years.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Leo C. and Rita McGlynn Holleran. She was a graduate of Saint Rose High School, Carbondale, and Mercidian School of Nursing, Scranton, where she became a License Practical Nurse. Deanna was a member of Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, Dalton.

Surviving are daughters Kathryn Valdez and husband Michael of Dalton, Erica Kehrli and husband Richard of Springville, and Monica Wilga and husband Thomas of Dalton; grandsons Dan Wilga and partner Cheryl Groskopf of Los Angeles and Joe Wilga of New York; brother Rev. Leo C. Holleran, M.S. of Hartford, Connecticut; sister Michele Middlekauff and husband Eric of Frederick, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Holleran.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
