Deborah M. Rhinard, 71, of Tunkhannock passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her home.

Born on July 12, 1952 in Scranton, she is the daughter of the late Angelo "Nails" and Audrey (Miner) Labori.

She was a 1970 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. Deborah's professional journey was marked by her unwavering commitment to excellence. For the majority of her career, she dedicated her time and talents to Commonwealth Telephone. Her hard work and determination led her to spend the last 15 years at M&T Bank in Wilkes-Barre as an Administrative Assistant for the branch. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, Deborah played an invaluable role in ensuring the seamless operation of the bank's charitable giving.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Deborah was truly a family-oriented individual whose love for her grandkids knew no bounds. Their presence brought immense joy to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her nurturing spirit will continue to inspire and guide them throughout their lives.

One of Deborah's greatest pleasures was indulging in the world of literature. With every turn of the page, she embarked on countless adventures from the comfort of her home. Her passion for reading expanded horizons and sparked imaginations.

However, Deborah's exceptional talent lay in the kitchen where she crafted delectable delights that were adored by all who were fortunate enough to taste them. Her pies were renowned far and wide, earning her a well-deserved reputation as a fantastic baker.

A proud Penn State fan, Deborah's weekends often revolved around cheering on her favorite team at their games. The electric atmosphere in the stadium fueled her enthusiasm as she united with fellow fans in displaying unwavering support for the team, she held dear to heart.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Rhinard and wife Amy; sisters, Lorraine Tewksbury and husband Randy, Nancy Marshall and husband Paul; grandchildren, Ethan and Elliot Rhinard; nephew, Ryan Tewksbury and wife Stella; niece, Megan Dillon and husband Aaron.

Deborah M. Rhinard will forever be remembered as a beacon of strength, love, and kindness in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Her legacy lives on through the memories she cultivated with her beloved family, the tastes she shared through her tantalizing pies, and the joy she radiated at every Penn State game.

Family and friends are invited to attend Deborah's funeral service which will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00PM at the funeral home.
