Dianne M. Mitchell

Dianne M. Mitchell, 64, of Factoryville, died Thursday morning at her home. She was the wife of Ray Mitchell. The couple married in 1997.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Kay Longstreet Morris. She was a graduate of Springfield High School and the Philadelphia College of Textile and Design. Prior to retirement, she worked in textile design and product assurance for MTL Incorporated.

Also surviving are her brothers, Jeffrey Morris and his wife June of Media, Pa, and David Morris and his wife Carol of Flourtown, Pa; a sister, Nancy Gravalis of Connecticut; a stepbrother, Peter Clausen and his wife Lisa of Washington, DC; and a stepsister, Elizabeth Clausen of Flourtown; and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her best friend and dog, Clyde.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 1 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
