Donald Richard Cadman, Jr., 66, of Framingham, Massachusetts, formerly of Clarks Summit, Pa, passed away at home on November 29th.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Anne Hobdell Cadman and Donald Richard Cadman, Sr..
He was a member of the Abington Heights High School Class of 1975 and a graduate of Keystone College and Shippensburg University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was a Regional Business Manager of Henkel North America for the past 14 years.
Don was an avid skier and enjoyed many years of sailing Newport Harbor, Rhode Island. Most of his devoted time was spent with his beloved son, Donnie. They enjoyed attending movies, traveling throughout the United States and trips back to Don's hometown of Clarks Summit to visit family and friends. Don and Donnie especially loved their many trips to the Theatre District of New York City.
Don was proud of his involvement with Keystone College, having served as Past President of the Keystone Alumni Association. Don received the prestigious Distinguished Service to Keystone Award in 2021. He often traveled from Framingham to Factoryville to attend college functions. He enjoyed spending time walking the campus, mentoring students, and enjoying time spent with his Keystone alumni friends.
Don enjoyed many years as a devoted employee of Henkel and will be missed by his friends and former colleagues.
Surviving are his son Donnie, Framingham, Massachusetts; brother Jon and wife Jeanne Marie, Clarks Summit; sisters Julie and husband Michael Creegan, Clarks Summit; Pam and Carlo Romaldini, Newton Township. Nieces & Nephews: Cale Cadman (Jaime) , Ross Cadman (Sara), Elisia Katz (Greg), Ashley Smiley, Michael Creegan, Cecilia Bain (John), and Sante Romaldini. In addition, Auntie Marian Cadman, Newton, MA., Auntie Pat Parker Ellis (Ray), Nashville, TN., former wife Heather Cadman of Framingham, Massachusetts; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
A blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, PA with services by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Church. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 - 6:30 pm, with a eulogy at 6:30 pm.
