Doris Irene Fischer, 95, died February 19th at the Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton, PA, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Fischer. She was born on April 11, 1921 daughter of the late Thomas and Beulah Christman Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Fischer, twin brother Donald, brothers Sterling, Wilbert, Phillip and Daniel.
She is survived by son David Fischer, grandsons David Fischer Jr, Bruce Fischer, granddaughters Jennifer Chesner and husband Darrin, and Kayla Fischer, great grandchildren Hannah and Connor Chesner.
A memorial service will be held on March 5th at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock. For direction and on line condolences please visit www.sheldonkukuchkafuneralhome.com.
