Life Legacy
Dorothy “Dot” Nally of Tunkhannock died Monday evening in the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She was born in Scranton on March 23, 1945, daughter of the late Russell E. and Mary Connerton Collins.
Dot was a 1963 graduate of Clark Summit High School and a graduate of St. Josephs Nursing School in Carbondale. Prior to her retirement she worked as an RN at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock for 45 years and served as night shift supervisor for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock.
Surviving is her husband of 49 years James Nally, sons James of Tunkhannock, Joseph of Elk Mountain, brothers Russell and wife Karen Collins of Scranton, sisters Mary Louise Baxley and Marcie Ewasko of Winter Springs, Fla. Laurie Kline of Clark Summit, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 pm until the time of service.
