Dung Vu Thi Cremer, 86, of Clarks Green, formerly of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, died at home on March 8, 2024. She was the beloved widow of Allan Charles Cremer.
Dung was born in Vietnam where she met Allan, and returned to New York to raise their family. In addition to New York, Dung and Allan spent many years living and traveling extensively overseas, including Egypt, Jordan and Argentina. Their family returned to Hastings-on-Hudson and, upon retirement, Dung and Allan owned and operated the Willow & Lotus Bed & Breakfast in Cornwall, Vermont for over 10 years. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Hastings, NY and St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Middlebury, VT.
Surviving are two sons, Dan Allan Cremer (wife Bonnie) of Horseheads, NY, and James Richard Cremer (wife Judith) of West Newton, Massachusetts; a daughter, Sarah Catherina Cremer of Clarks Green; grandchildren Todd Deshane, Deanna Hughes, Melissa Rhoads, Aleah and Kiran Cremer, and Sophia Cody.
A funeral service will be held at the Church of Epiphany, 25 Church Hill Road, Glenburn, PA on March 10, 2024 at 3 pm. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY on March 11, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Save the Children Fund on behalf of Dung Cremer.
