Edith S. Holbrook

Edith S. Holbrook of Mehoopany, PA entered into rest on April 14, 2015. She was born in Poland on June 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Boleslaw and Agatha Polesczenko Rajnert. She was preceded in death by brothers Stanley, Edward, and Joseph Rajnert, and granddaughter Stephanie Overfield. Edith always looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bird watching and working on jigsaw puzzles with her family. She is survived by a son Michael Geras of Falls, daughters Theresa (Terrance) Pawlowski of Tunkhannock, and daughters, Donna (Robert) VanDermark of Mehoopany and Angela Yachymiak of Tunkhannock; a brother Kasimirz Rajnert of Warren, MI and a sister Victoria Blovycky of Beechwood, MI; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Services and burial were held April 20th at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Pine Island, NY. Arrangements entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA.
