Elaine P. Allgood

Elaine P. Allgood, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday morning at Allied Skilled Nursing.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Palmer and wife Alverna Miller.  Prior to her retirement, she worked for Davis Variety Store and later Scranton Dry Goods as well as the Globe Store.  She was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church.  Elaine will be remembered as a soft-spoken and stylish lady.

Surviving are a son, Warren Allgood and his wife Lucinda, S. Abington Twp.; a brother, Robert Palmer, CA; a nephew, Jack Palmer, Hop Bottom; and two step grandsons David and Christian Boyle.

A graveside service will be held in Clarks Green Cemetery by Rev. John Mackey, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
