Elaine B. Corey

Elaine Blye Corey 84, of Montrose, PA, a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, died Monday at home June 16'th with her family at her side. Elaine attended Springside Academy, Randolph-Macon, and Cornell University. She was a cradle to grave Episcopalian who attended St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Tunkhannock for 18 years, and most recently, transferred her membership to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church when she moved to Montrose. Her life revolved around Our Lord God, her church and her family. Elaine loved to tell stories of family, travel and adventure. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and was a competitive athlete in her youth and throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert W. Blye and her second husband William S. Corey. She was born in Philadelphia on July 6, 1929, the daughter of the late B. Graeme Frazier, Jr and Helen Wolstenholme Frazier. She was preceded in death by her sister Audrey F. Whitby. She is survived by her sons Robert W. Blye, of Pottstown, PA, Rodger F. Blye, of Chester Springs, PA, David R. Blye, of Pottstown, PA, daughters Lynne B. Graham, of Montrose, PA, Karen Blye-McAbee, of Montrose, PA, Barbara B. Ferrey, of Sweet Valley, PA, step-daughters Barbara C. Walters, of Pottstown, PA, Margaret C. Cave, of Narberth, PA, brother Bertram Graeme Frazier III, of Bluebell, PA, 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 12:00 PM from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Montrose. Friends and family may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday evening and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church in Montrose on Saturday morning.
