Ella M. Tassey

Ella M. Tassey, 83, of South Abington Township, died on Wednesday morning at Allied Skilled – Scranton. She was the widow of David Tassey.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Josephine Williams Sherman. Prior to retirement, she worked as a cashier.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Tremmel of Scranton; a son, David Tassey, Jr. of Springbrook; and nine grandchildren; and sister Marion Newberry and her husband James and family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
