Ellen Marie Garey

Ellen Marie Garey, 92, of Mill City died Thursday September 7th at Hospice of Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Garey.

She was born in Falls, Pa on March 8, 1925 daughter of the late John and Theresa VanAucken Blachek.

She was preceded in death by her brother William and sister Catherine.  

She is survived by her son Robert and wife Sandra, of Mill City, daughter Carol and husband Spencer Jonas, of Falls, brother John Blachek and wife Rose, of Montrose, sister Freda Reynolds and husband “Butch”, of Lake Winola, 6 grandchildren 10 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday September 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Lake Winola. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery Lake Winola.
