Ernestine Sickler, 88, formally of Falls, passed away Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Larry Sickler, in 2008.
Born in Thomasville, GA on March 17, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha Mae Eddings Bryan.
She was a member of the West Falls Baptist Church and active in the Falls Senior Center.
Ernestine enjoyed gardening, bird watching, working the polls during the elections and spending time with her sons, grandchildren and family. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and was a friend to everyone she met.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Sickler and wife Kathleen of East Stroudsburg, Steven Sickler and wife Sherri of Newton Ransom, Mark Sickler and wife Natalie of Tunkhannock; brother, Sam Bryan; sister, Faye Pittman; grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Sarah, Brett, and Michael Sickler.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Paul W. Bryan; sister, Jeanette Bryan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Interment was held in Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
