Ethel A. (Gall) Corrigan

Ethel A. (Gall) Corrigan died January 23, 2024 in Alexandria, VA. Her husband Thomas J. Corrigan died on February 10, 2011.

Born in Throop, PA, on June 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth Gall. She was a graduate of Eastside High School, Paterson NJ, the Jersey City Medical Center and New Jersey State College in Jersey City. After graduation she was a nursing instructor at the Medical Center and in later years was a substitute nurse in the Abington Heights School District in Clarks Summit, PA. She moved to Alexandria in 2013 to be near family.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Beth Corrigan and husband John Hochheimer, Alexandria VA, and three sons: Stephen and wife Virginia, Henrico VA, Thomas Jr, St Croix USVI and Christopher and wife Corinne, Daly City CA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Elmer Gall of Kinnelon, New Jersey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, pastor. Interment at Clarks Green Cemetery will follow.

Family will greet attendees at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
