Ethel Kidd

Ethel M. Kidd, 85, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at River View Nursing Home.

Born in Vernon, PA on April 2, 1937. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Cloe Evans Faux.

She was a 1955 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. She and her husband owned and operated Fauxs Inn at Harvey's Lake for 16 years and Ethel's Country Lane Personal care Home until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care of people. She loved when people visited her. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Ayre and Lisa, David Ayre and wife Cheryl; daughter, Donna Harris and husband Robert; sister, Donna Robinson; brother, David Faux; grandchildren, Andrea Walko, Donna Newhart, Deanne Lipinski, David Ayre; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison Hughes, Ella Walko, and Nathan Ayre; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Kidd; son, Steven Ayre; brothers, Joseph, William, Arthur, Wilmer, and Robert.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
