Florence B. Cortese

Florence B. Cortese, 93, of Tunkhannock died Friday December 9, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wilkes-Barre Township on September 12, 1923. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Levandowski. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by Henry’s Drug Store and Rexall Drug Store in Tunkhannock, she attended the church of the Nativity BVM. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Cortese, daughter Shayna Brennan, grandson Bill Evans, and her beloved cat Muffin. Surviving is a son Peter of Mifflinburg, PA. Daughters Pamela Cortese of Luzerne, Petra Cortese of Milford, PA and Lisa Cortese of Tunkhannock, granddaughter Sarah Brennan of Oakland, CA.
