Frank C. Lenivy

Frank C. Lenivy Jr. 62, of Tunkhannock died suddenly Thursday at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Mary Pat Jarosz. He was born on July 1, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland son of the late Frank C. and Marie Linthicum Lenivy Sr. He retired from Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany after 31 years in 2003. Frank was a member and a past president of the Tunkhannock youth Basketball Association for 13 years; he helped coach the Tunkhannock High school baseball team, also coached senior Legion baseball for four years, and started the Junior Legion baseball program, he also was a member of the Charlie Shaw Golf League, and loved to travel with his family. He is survived by his son Christopher, of Tunkhannock, daughter and husband Andrea and Jeff Fleming, of Harvey’s lake, Step Mother Joan Lenivy, of Pasadena, MD, step sons Alan Freed, of Abingdon, MD, Clayton Freed, of Rising Sun, MD, and step sister Erin Peters, of Annapolis, MD. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Peter F. Geschwinder of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
