Freda E. Coolbaugh

Freda E. Coolbaugh, 83, of Tunkhannock passed away June 16, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband Merten Coolbaugh in 2007. Born in Sweet Valley, PA she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lizzie Piatt Kittle. She was the sister of Allen, Harold, and Robert. Freda and her husband Mert celebrated 39 years of marriage. Freda is survived by many good friends from her high school days, and her working career at Latona Mills, Deluxe Homes, and Proctor and Gamble, Mehoopany. She is also survived by her friends at the Tunkhannock Active Adult Center and her Eastern Star Sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and husband. “I received my new forwarding address. Please don’t feel sad for me, because I was told it is the most beautiful place in the universe. There are so many flowers where I am going. Please donate to whom you choose.
