Frederick Remington

Frederick Robert Remington, 76, of Tunkhannock passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born on September 9, 1947 in Williamsport, he is the son of the late Frank and Lillian (Shultz) Remington.

Frederick was widely recognized for his remarkable knack for fixing things, earning him the distinguished title of "the fixer of things." His abilities, particularly attuned to the mechanics of bicycles.

In addition to his mechanical skills, Frederick enjoyed lending a helping hand to Digger Jones at Sunnyside Cemetery.

He is survived by his sister, Marcia Belles; cousins, Ruth and Ralph Psolka, Ann and Joe Karp.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Thomas Remington.

Funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be held in Sunnyside, Cemetery.
