Gary Lacoe

Gary LaCoe passed away on March 8th at SC Upstate Hospice House surrounded by family.

Born and raised in Clarks Summit, he later moved to Liberty, South Carolina. He was the son of Clyde LaCoe and Evelyn Harris.

Gary absolutely loved hunting and fishing with his family and it was what he looked forward to the most. He served in the Air Force in Vietnam as a mechanic, then worked at many jobs: carpenter, RCA, and maintenance for Scranton Label Inc.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rose Mary; son Jason LaCoe; daughter Lisa LaCoe; three grandchildren: Connor LaCoe, Cody Wyatt, Jayden LaCoe and stepgrandson Trenton Hamblin; and several nieces and nephews.
