Gary Muckin

Gary Muckin, 60, of Lake Winola PA, formerly of Edison NJ, passed away at home on January 23rd, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Margaret Muckin.

He was born in Edison, NJ on April 13th, 1962. He was the son of the late Edward and Anne Muckin.

Gary was a 1980 graduate of Edison High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology from Johnson College of Technology. He worked many dedicated years as a Millwright, most recently as Director of Operations at Mike's Welding.

Gary cherished the time that he spent with his wife, family, and friends. He was an active member of his community, and particularly enjoyed volunteering for his sons' sports teams - for many years as a youth sports coach, then later as a member of the Tunkhannock Football Gridiron Club and Tunkhannock Wrestling Booster Club. He loved to spend time outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, and fishing with his sons and dogs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, sons Dr. Andrew Muckin and wife Gabrielle of Clarks Summit and Brian Muckin, PA-C of Lake Winola; brother, Robert Muckin.

Family and friends are invited to attend Gary's funeral service which will be held on Monday January 30, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Deacon Raymond Pieretti presiding.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
