Giovanna Peters

Giovanna Rose Peters, 8 months, of Mehoopany passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born on August 29, 2024 in Wilkes-Barre, she is the daughter of Christopher Peters and Julie Robets.

Her family loved her immensely and her infectious smiles and joyful spirit brought light into their lives. Giovanna's warmth and happiness will be remembered and cherished by all who were touched by her short but wonderful life.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by sisters, Yulianna Peters and Jahaliana Charles; maternal grandparents, Troy and Alice Robets; paternal grandparents, Keith Peters (Joan) and Artis Horton (Robert); great-grandparents, Alice Severcool, Wilfred and June Horton; aunts and uncles, Karen Smith (Kyle), Katie Peters (Brian), Elissa Rose (Dave); cousins, Kaylee, Ryder, Zoey, Shawn, Krystal, Michael.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Charles Severcool; great-grandmother, Jean Setzer (Poppy Don); baby cousin, Aries Rae.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
