Gladys Schroeder, 96, of Clarks Green died on Sunday evening at Linwood Nursing Center in Scranton. She was the widow of Bob Edward Schroeder, who died in 2014. The couple had been married 68 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Elvira Meade Ace. In her earlier years, she was the manager of the Pringles Dress Shop in Clarks Summit. She was an artist and enjoyed square dancing and traveling throughout the United States and Canada.
Surviving is a son, Terry and his wife Cheryl of New Freedom; a daughter, Renee Regan and her husband Mike of California; four grandchildren, Randy and Kevin Schroeder and Matt and Kevin Regan; two great grandchildren, Skyler Schroeder and Mason Regan.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Wayne Ace.
Entombment was held privately at the Glenwood Mausoleum, with services by Rev. James Hollister.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
